Kansas City Chiefs VS New England Patriots NFL Week 11

By | Nov 17, 2011

After winning the AFC West last season the (4-5) Kansas City Chiefs leave much to be desired. Things started going down hill with the loss of Jamaal Charles and has now picked up speed with the loss of Matt Cassel. Tom Brady’s (6-3) New England Patriots are firing on all cylinders and will be revving their motor to get at this slightly less potent Kansas City defence.

Brady is spreading the ball around to everyone on this offense now after relying on the Brady and Welker combination earlier in the season. Chad Ocho Cinco has failed miserably for Brady but Deion Branch has been a great target.

Bill Belichik will be looking to take it to the former Patriots mastermind Scott Pioli as he faces his former general manager. While Belichik is not the general manager that Pioli was he can coach a team and he will be chomping on the bit to show he can win without his former mentor.

The big question for this game is this; can the Patriots defence put together a good game against a terrible offense? Should the Chiefs tally more than 20 points in this match New England might as well pack it up now as they certainly wouldn’t be able to make it out of the round of the NFL play offs.

This defence is going to have to step up and stop someone as Brady can only score so many points. The biggest problem lies with the Patriots being weak in the corners. They need to play tighter on coverage and the safeties need to step up and help out on deep routes if the corners are poor in coverage.
